Two months til D day - Maternity Shoot

Last weekend Robert and I had some maternity pictures taken at 30 weeks.  It was a gorgeous day at the Dallas Arboretum.  We were very pleased with Sarah's work.  Here is a peak at the pictures.  Let us know what you think!  In other baby news, I had a doctor's appointment this morning.  Everything looks good.  Weight and blood pressure are good.  So far so good in pregnancy news.  Less than 9 weeks to go!  Time is flying.

Strut your Mutt 2011

This morning we got up early so Turk could strut around Fair Park for a 3K walk to benefit the SPCA.  Carissa, Kristin 2, and I together raised $600.  Thank you to all of our family and friends that donated to our special cause.  Lots of dogs came out to show their support for their rescue relatives on such a beautiful day.  We saw a lot of weiner dogs, a couple of min pins, and one giant great dane that had tiger stripes.  I think the funniest part of the event was when a dog grabbed the person dressed as a dog because he thought he was a giant stuffed toy.  Here are a few pictures of our big dogs strutting their stuff.

Somebody couldn't make it the entire walk

Is that an alien, nope it's just Ethan

A couple of weeks ago we went for our 3D/4D sonogram.  While he wasn't super active (for a change), he was willing to give us a wave and when he got bored with us, a good yawn.  Any predictions on who he will look the most like?

Piece of Cake

I have been getting a lot of practice in decorating cakes over the past year or so.  Just a side hobby of mine I am working to perfect.  Who knows, maybe I can make a little extra cash with it at some point.  Here is some of my work.

Project Nursery

We have been working hard to get ready for our first little bundle of joy.  Of course when we found out, I knew my arts and crafts room would be gone to be replaced by a nursery.  After a couple of months we have finally made some progress.  Here is Robert's man work for the weekend.  I was pretty impressed at how handy he is becoming.

Here is the art work that we added.  A wall gallery, shelving, and putting Ethan's name above his crib.

That is our progress so far.

How much is the Turky in the window?  Ruff, Ruff.
