Thanksgiving Miracle

It was a Thanksgiving miracle. All of the kids were in great moods the majority of this busy, busy day. We started the day in Red Oak. There was a lot of food and we had a great time visiting with family members we don't get to see near enough. Of course, we missed those that weren't able to make it.

One of my favorites of the day and two of my favorite people

Sisters never stop bickering

Hey, can I have a cracker?

We went from Red Oak to Southlake after Brady's nap. We got to eat some more turkey and visit a little more.

We had a fun and busy day yesterday. There is so much to be thankful for this year, most of which is shown above. I am especially thankful for a great husband, adorable kids, great family, and awesome in-laws that I can now call family.

And since the first thing Ethan said to me yesterday, in whispers, while holding my face to wake me up, was "Christmas is after Thanksgiving", we started decorating today. He wanted to help so bad. There was only one casualty. However, most of them are shatterproof, thank goodness.
Brady was not amused. But, he is sitting on his own for minutes at a time now.

Showing his chub.
Sweet boys.

So much concentration. All of his ornaments were in one main location.
He is so stinkin' cute

Only 27 more days until Christmas.

Frosty the Snowman in Ice!

We are starting the holiday season off with a bang. Last Friday Robert took the day off and we dropped Brady off with Grandma. We took Ethan to see Frosty the Snowman in Ice! at the Gaylord. These people are true artist. The amount of time and patience these things take and while freezing is crazy. But, Ethan had a great time spending some alone time with us and taking everything in.

Excited with Daddy!

Mastering the slide, he was a little timid at first

Soon we could not get him to leave

Dad had fun too

Mommy, it's so cold!
